4-Day / 3-Night Shared Cruise Itinerary: Lombok to Flores

Cruise itinerary and visits

Departure from Kayangan Port in Lombok and visit to Kenawa Island.

  • 08:30 – 11:00 | Pickup and Transfer Your journey starts here! A shuttle will pick you up from your hotel or the port, whether you are staying in Senggigi, Mataram, Kuta, or near Bangsal Port. The evening before departure, we will confirm your exact pickup time and provide your driver’s contact details. Sit back and relax for a 2.5 to 3-hour drive to Kayangan Port in East Lombok, the gateway to your epic expedition.
  • 12:30 – 13:30 | Welcome Aboard! Welcome to your new home! Once at the harbor, it’s time to check in and settle into your quarters on the boat, which will be your base for the next few days.
  • 14:00 | Setting Sail Cast off! We leave Lombok behind and set course for our first destination: the stunning Kenawa Island. The crossing takes approximately 2.5 hours.
  • 16:30 | Kenawa Island Exploration Upon arrival at Kenawa, enjoy a short hike up to a spectacular viewpoint. From the summit, you will witness a breathtaking sunset, painting the sky in fiery colors over the horizon.
  • 18:30 | Night Navigation The day ends on a high note. Return to the boat to begin our overnight navigation (approximately 7–8 hours) toward Whale Shark Point. Let the gentle rhythm of the waves rock you to sleep as we sail toward tomorrow’s wonders.

Saleh Bay (Whale Sharks) and Doropeti Sightseeing

  • 05:00 – 07:30 | Sunrise with Whale Sharks Wake up at dawn for a moment you will never forget. Upon arrival at Whale Shark Point, you will have the unique chance to swim and snorkel with the gentle giants of the sea—the majestic Whale Sharks. Enjoy a truly immersive 1.5-hour experience alongside these incredible creatures.
  • 07:30 – 10:30 | Breakfast and Coastal Cruise After this moving encounter, a well-deserved breakfast will be served on board. The adventure continues with a short cruise to our next stop, Doropeti.
  • 10:30 – 12:00 | Snorkeling in Doropeti At Doropeti, get your masks and snorkels ready! You will explore vibrant coral gardens teeming with marine life. It is like swimming in a vast, open-air aquarium.
  • 12:00 | Setting Sail for Komodo In the early afternoon, the boat will begin a longer navigation of 15 to 20 hours toward the legendary Komodo National Park. We expect to arrive at our first Komodo destination tomorrow morning between 6:00 AM and 7:00 AM.

Manta Point, Komodo Island, Pink Beach, and Padar Island


  • 07:00 AM – 08:30 AM: Welcome to Komodo National Park! Your first stop is the famous Manta Point. Here, you will spend about 1.5 hours swimming among graceful manta rays. A fascinating aquatic ballet for a breathtaking experience! Afterward, you will sail for about 45 minutes to reach Komodo Island.
  • 10:45 AM – 12:30 PM: Prepare to step back in time on Komodo Island. A 1.5-hour hike accompanied by a local ranger will lead you to meet the masters of the land: the Komodo dragons. You will observe these prehistoric creatures in their natural habitat—a powerful and impressive moment.
  • 01:30 PM – 03:30 PM: After this terrestrial encounter, set course for the iconic Pink Beach. Enjoy 2 hours to relax on its world-unique pink sand, swim in its crystal-clear waters, and go snorkeling.
  • 04:30 PM – 06:30 PM: The adventure continues toward Padar Island. An unforgettable hike awaits to reach its summit and admire one of Indonesia’s most famous panoramas, especially at sunset.
  • 06:30 PM – 09:00 PM: The day comes to an end, with your head full of memories. The boat weighs anchor for a 3 to 3.5-hour journey toward Kelor Island, where you will spend the night.

  • 08:30 – 10:30: For your final morning, you will explore the charming Kelor Island for approximately 2 hours. Enjoy a 15-minute trek up the island’s hills, offering a panoramic view, and take one last swim in this postcard-perfect setting, where you might even spot baby sharks.
  • 10:30 – 11:30: It is time to say goodbye to these paradise islands. You will begin your final hour of sailing toward Labuan Bajo.
  • 11:30 – 12:00: Arrival in Labuan Bajo, Flores. Your incredible adventure from Lombok to Komodo ends here, but the memories will stay with you forever.
  • You will have enough time to catch an afternoon flight or stay an extra night in Labuan Bajo to further explore this charming port town.
  • A few days after the cruise, we will send you a download link for the photos taken by the guide during the trip.

  • We had a lot of fun and loved the cruise! The boat, the really excellent food, the people we met there. The kids and I were sad to leave the boat! The guide and photographer/guide were very good and friendly. The team was very nice even if we didn’t interact much mainly because of the language, but they were very discreet too. There were even small snacks and sodas, tea/coffee, beers (the only drinks to pay for). The beds were comfortable and we slept really well (almost no engine noise). The small bathroom could be refreshed but it’s not very important in my opinion. the experiences were well organized and well timed! We really loved Pink Beach as much for its exteriors as its seabed! The “whale shark” outing was good because it is a magnificent animal, but I still felt a little uncomfortable ethically speaking because the whale shark was “fed” from the platform and with all the people around it was a bit limiting for the animal (some people did not hesitate to dive very close and try to touch the whale shark). The sunsets were incredible and the hikes to the viewpoints ok (although the last one was more difficult for the kids). We were able to dive several times from the boat and it was just a great experience!! The Komodo dragons were not numerous (2) and really asleep but the ride was nice.
    We felt safe and well looked after which is an important point for me, the team was efficient and for example took care of changing our masks and snorkels as soon as we needed them. In short, we never got bored and even the quieter day passed quickly and was great! Thank you for the very efficient and easy organization.

    In general, thank you for all the organization and the information which was clear and really nice
    The boat is really magnificent and comfortable, especially the common areas which allow you to relax during navigation. The room met expectations and the crew really took care of us (the meals were particularly delicious). You might just have to bring a plate of every dish in a non-spicy/spicy version but otherwise it’s great!
    As for the activities, Pink Peach, Padar Island and the snorkeling areas were real favorites. Lots of beautiful memories.
    But overall it’s a 9.5/10 for this cruise along the Alfathran. The crew and equipment are really great.

For us the only thing that was complicated was that it was very cramped for meals after which I don’t really know how it could be improved. But the meals were excellent, it was varied and really very good.

  • Thanks for the photo link. We loved the cruise, our “Senggigi” room was perfect.
    The navigation between the places to visit went very well and we ate really well.
    The staff on board were very friendly, however we found that there was a little lack of communication on what we were going to do, for how long and some small explanations about the places (eg: why the sand is pink at pink beach etc)
    We didn’t love the visit to the komodo dragon park, entry is very expensive compared to life in Indonesia, and we had the impression that the dragons were not in their condition because they were abnormally very calm
    But once again we loved the cruise, it was on this one that we saw the most beautiful landscapes and seabeds and marine animals of our stay. We keep a wonderful memory of it

  • We really enjoyed the cruise, the group was very good, the boat too, just our room had a big tarpaulin on the ceiling because of a leak. The meals were really excellent and we had access to unlimited sodas and snacks.
    The activities were great. On the other hand, we found that the Komodo park was a bit superfluous, the cost of the activity is very expensive compared to the duration and what we saw + the guides confirmed that they were drugging the monitor lizards. This is clearly not an ethical activity.
    Otherwise we saw all the animals announced (whale shark, manta ray, turtles, blacktip shark).
    We recommend this cruise to future travelers, it’s a good opportunity to meet other people.

  • We have great memories of this cruise, the boat was perfect, the common areas were sufficient and very comfortable to enjoy while sailing. The room we chose met our expectations. The snoorkelling outings are very well supervised by the crew. We had everything we needed on the boat, and the crew was very nice.
    On the points to improve in my opinion, the meals were diversified, but much too spicy.. Sometimes, communication on certain activities was weak, we did not necessarily have all the information from the guide beforehand. Finally, the second day of the cruise was a bit long, because all the snoorkelling activities were in the morning, and we had sailed the rest of the day, perhaps an island at the end of the day could have cut it.

    We really liked the cruise with many advantages such as: the different activities, the different common areas, the kindness and immediate availability of the on-board staff, the variety of food, the cleanliness of the rooms…etc
    The small points that could be improved are: the absence of hot water in the showers, a similar quality for all the masks/fins and a warning of the risk of jellyfish in the excursions (possibility to bring suitable clothing).

    The cruise was really incredible, we were able to snorkel with lots of different animals (whale sharks, turtles, small rays, sharks..), there were more than expected following a change of program. The activities were great, we didn’t have time to get bored during the cruise.
    On the boat, there was room for everyone. All the staff were incredibly nice. The Gili room was quite small but more than enough to sleep in. There was, however, a lot of noise, which is normal but I would still like to point out that. However there were some problems in the rooms: the bathroom door was blocked when we arrived but this was quickly corrected by a member of the crew after removing the handle. Our neighbors didn’t have air conditioning the entire trip because it didn’t work. And another room didn’t have a shower for 2 days. Small details that could be checked before guests arrive on the boat.
    Overall it was truly an unforgettable experience!

    The Cruise went very well. The care at our Homestay was in accordance with the organization. Once we arrived at the port we had to wait 45/50 minutes before being able to board without really having any explanations. Apparently we were waiting for the boat to dock…
    The staff was very pleasant and helpful from the start.
    The various meals served were very generous and good. Perhaps lack of variety of fruits.
    The boss Jonathan and the photographer/guide Cesar have always been helpful and friendly.
    Regarding the rooms: Gili room 1: ok but very dilapidated shower room (lots of mold everywhere). The water was more lukewarm than hot but that wasn’t a problem because it was hot.
    The excursions and activities pretty much corresponded to the program. The second day of navigation was very long because we saw the whale sharks at 6 a.m., then did a bit of norkelling but we mainly spent the whole afternoon and night sailing… it was a bit long without any activity offered on the boat.
    We were not able to see the manta rays at Manta Point (apparently they have been absent for several weeks): a shame but nature decides! We then continued with the visit to Komodo: a bit quick…
    The afternoon at Pink beach was very pleasant and taking a little time to enjoy swimming did a lot of good. The sunset on the island of Padar is just magnificent… even if a lot of people
    Last day: snorkeling on the island of Kelor. A little disappointed! The island and the sea are polluted, there are too many people and snorkeling is of little interest except to see baby sharks. We would have preferred a quieter, more authentic place…
    We appreciated that Jonathan took care of finding drivers for all the families to take us to our different drop-off points in Labuan Bajo.
    In short, we had a very pleasant cruise where we were able to enjoy the magnificent landscapes in the Flores Sea.
    Thank you for your support and your seriousness in all the preparation of this trip. We will recommend your organization on occasion.

  • An exceptional cruise overall, despite two small disappointments
    We come back with very fond memories of this cruise, even if we encountered two points which disappointed us a little.
    The first concerns the visit to Komodo National Park.
    The second point is a full day spent without activity, because an island initially planned on the program was canceled (a priori bought by a hotel complex). We would have appreciated this time being reorganized differently, in particular with more snorkeling spots. The one we were able to do was truly exceptional — we were lucky enough to see turtles and dolphins, but the excursion was short (barely 30 minutes in the water). One or two additional spots would have made this day even more memorable.
    But apart from that, everything else was absolutely perfect.
    The organization by the lebaliblog was exemplary: SMS the day before and the same day, impeccable punctuality, smooth and well-coordinated return transfers, everything was square and reassuring from start to finish. We felt supported at every step, which is very appreciable, especially as a family with young children.
    The atmosphere on board was warm, full of wonderful human encounters, and the crew was just exceptional: always there, always smiling, attentive, professional — a real pleasure. A big congratulations to the entire boat team.
    The meals were good and varied, the boat very clean, the hygiene impeccable, and little touches (like Coke available for the children) really make the difference.
    And special mention to the photos! The drone images and cameraman photos are magnificent. We leave with superb visual memories of this cruise, which we can keep forever.
    In summary:
    -Lebaliblog organization at the top
    -Great crew and atmosphere
    -Clean, comfortable and well-equipped boat
    -Varied meals, magnificent photo memories
    -Only downsides: the visit to Komodo too expensive for little content, and a day without activity which could have been better optimized.
    Thank you again for this great experience — despite these two points, the results are largely positive and we recommend the cruise without hesitation!

  • The 4 day cruise was splendid! The activities are great! The boat is very comfortable, the Senggigi rooms are top! there is room to relax! The crew takes great care and always with a smile! The meals served are tasty and plentiful. We will keep a wonderful memory of this family cruise!
    In room 1 there was just the cupboard door which was broken from the inside so the door did not hold correctly but that did not hinder the operation!

  • Our cruise went very well!
    The reservation with lebaliblog was quick.
    On the boat, the crew was great, the food was very good (it was very plentiful), the dormitory was very good for a few nights, the activities and excursions were also very good!
    The only point to review is the fact that several cruises meet on the same excursions/activities and unfortunately there are too many of us on site (for example: there were 3 boats of around 30 people for seeing whale sharks)

    The atmosphere was excellent but not thanks to the crew, who were not very present when needed.
    The food, on the other hand, was very good and as varied as possible.
    To summarize: cruise a little expensive considering the service but which was worth doing because the landscapes were sumptuous.

  • Hello, regarding the return for the cruise it is generally positive however there is not much missing to make it a truly exceptional moment, here are the points in detail:
    POSITIVE POINTS:
    -The boat is of good quality and clean (be careful there were cockroaches in some cabins though!)
    -the crew is friendly and attentive
    -the experiences and the landscapes are exceptional (except for one snorkeling point which I no longer remember the name and experience Komodo)
    -the food is very good and generous
    -the photographer created great memories
    NEGATIVE POINTS:
    -there is a lot of transport and waiting to arrive at the boat on the first day and it would have been appreciated if we were welcomed with at least one bottle of water per person or even welcome cocktails.
    -the jacuzzi appears in the photos but was not functional
    -snorkeling with whale sharks needs to be more supervised! We saw people touching the sharks and I even saw someone put his fin on the fin of one of them!
    -the excursion to see the KOMODO dragons is very very disappointing and I weigh my words carefully. This was for many the most disappointing moment of the cruise. There were 50 of us around an amorphous Komodo dragon following an unmotivated guide on a very short path (it took us 40 minutes to complete with very long photo breaks.) It is absolutely necessary that this outing be longer and that the boat be separated into several different groups of 5/6 people max to make the experience pleasant.

    Thank you very much for the photo download link and the experience, this one was perfect! We loved the cruise, the boat, the outdoor spaces, the room, the crew who took great care, the food which was super good and the many spots!
    If I had to say a few negative points, it would perhaps be the crowds that can be on the spots like whale shark or Komodo but that’s part of the game too!
    It was an experience that we wanted to live and this one lived up to our expectations!

  • Good morning ! The cruise was incredible! We enjoyed this experience from start to finish! The boat and crew were simply perfect! The service on board was perfect too! Meals morning/noon/evening every time very varied and in large quantities! Nice to be able to have more after a snorkeling trip
    We came across a really great group! 2 families and the rest young people aged 25 to 35! It was great to be able to chat with each other over a beer at sea in the middle of nowhere on the Al Fatran3
    I would like to thank lebaliblog for its sincere interest in customers who book. The responsiveness of the responses, and giving every week since our registration, news of our future boat excursion! (Indeed, I learned from the other participants in the boat trip on Al fahtran3, who did not go through Lebaliblog, that they had no news from their organization from the first payment until the day before departure.) Which was not at all the case when going through Lebaliblog and we wanted to thank you for that!
    Only positive things about the excursion, that said there are a few small negative points that me and my partner noted who could help in the future.
    1st; I think it would also be nice to sell glasses of wine (white/rosé) during the excursion for people who don’t drink beers (that’s really a very small negative point ^^)
    2nd; We didn’t really like Komodo Island, to see the monitor lizards. It was too touristy for us. And far too organized to see 3 varans who were each less than 30m from the beach.
    But apart from that we really really liked this experience!

  • The first impression was quite negative. In fact, we had chosen the cruise and this boat in particular because the number of people on board remained around twenty (22, up to 28 max in the boat sheet). But we took on board 38 people. It was not at all what we had bought and what we had come looking for. That is to say a cruise in small groups. The disillusionment was great, especially since it was supposed to be the highlight of our stay (with the price that went with it). The rest of the stay stemmed a lot from this fact. There just wasn’t enough room to sit properly to eat. The people are obliged to eat partly standing up, partly in beanbags not at all intended for this. Comfortable seats for relaxing (deckchairs, comfortable beanbags in the shade, etc.) were just taken by storm with the consequences that go with them (people preferring, as in low-cost cruises, to get up early and “reserve” their seat by putting their towel on it…). This frankly disappointed us because it was not the comfort of a small group cruise that we had come to look for and for which we had paid. The food was qualitative and varied and in quantity (even if sometimes you had to fight a little at dinner time given the number of people). The crew was friendly and the cabin conformed to the description. With a slight plus: obviously no need to access via a dormitory. The activities were well calibrated. Impressive whale shark, we did not see any manta rays. We found the walk with the Komodo dragons frankly not very qualitative (tourist trap). On the other hand, the walk above Komodo and Pink beach left us speechless. The access tax to Komodo (independent of your will I know), is in our opinion unjustified in its amount given the standard of living. Although we understand and appreciate the preserved virginity of the island. So. William. The boat is actually renovated
