Komodo in a Day: The Ultimate Speedboat Adventure

Experience the very best of Komodo National Park in a single, action-packed day. Designed for travelers who want to see it all but prefer the comfort of their hotel at night, our Speedboat Day Trip is the most efficient way to explore the archipelago.

Don’t let a tight schedule stop you from witnessing world-class wonders. Board our high-speed vessels and sweep across the Flores Sea to hit the park’s most iconic locations. Your day is rewarded with:

  • Conquer the summit of Padar Island for Indonesia’s most famous view.
  • Encounter the legendary Komodo Dragons in the wild.
  • Relax on the surreal blush-colored sands of Pink Beach.
  • Swim with majestic Manta Rays in the open ocean.
  • Snorkel in crystal-clear waters teeming with vibrant coral life.

Highlights :

1. Padar Island The morning begins with a hike up the rugged hills of Padar Island. From the summit, you are rewarded with a surreal panorama of three turquoise bays bordering beaches of white, black, and pink sand. It is a photographer’s dream.

2. Pink Beach (Long Beach) One of only seven pink beaches in the world. The sand gets its unique strawberry-shake hue from microscopic red coral fragments mixed with white sand. The water here is exceptionally clear, making it perfect for snorkeling or simply floating in paradise.

3. Komodo Island Step onto the land of the dragons. Accompanied by an experienced park ranger, you will trek through the dry forest and savannah to spot the prehistoric Komodo Dragon, as well as wild deer, boar, and tropical birds.

4. Taka Makassar A tiny, crescent-shaped sandbar that emerges in the middle of the sea during low tide. Surrounded by shallow turquoise water and coral reefs, it feels like a private island floating in the ocean.

5. Manta Point A thrilling stop where we search for the gentle giants of the ocean. Snorkel in the currents where Manta Rays gather to feed on plankton. Seeing these graceful creatures glide beneath you is an unforgettable experience.

6. Kanawa Island The perfect way to end the day. Kanawa is a tranquil island with a white sandy beach and a vibrant house reef right off the jetty. Enjoy a cold drink, feed the fish from the pier, or take one last dip before heading back.

BOATS :

1. High-Speed Speedboat

Speed is key for a one-day trip. Our modern speedboats are powered by high-horsepower engines, allowing us to cover the large distances between islands quickly and comfortably.

  • Features: Cushioned seating, roof for shade, life jackets, navigational safety equipment, and a ladder for easy water access.
  • Capacity: We have boats ranging from small (1–10 pax) to large (20–40 pax) depending on whether you choose a Private or Open Trip.

2. Wooden Open Deck Boat (Slow Boat)

Note: This boat is for a different, relaxed itinerary. For those who prefer a slower pace and don’t mind missing the far islands (like Padar), the wooden boat offers a classic, laid-back charm. It features a sun deck with bean bags and a dining table.

  • Route Limitation: Due to speed, this boat typically visits only nearby islands (Kelor, Rinca, Manjarite) and cannot reach Padar/Pink Beach in a single day.

Boat Options

1. Open Trip (Shared Speedboat) Perfect for: Solo travelers, couples, and small groups on a budget. Description: Join a group of like-minded travelers. You follow a fixed schedule (visiting 6 spots) and share the boat. It’s a fun, social, and cost-effective way to see the park.

2. Private Charter (Speedboat) Perfect for: Families, seniors, or groups wanting flexibility. Description: The boat is yours alone. You can adjust the departure time (leave earlier to beat crowds), stay longer at Pink Beach, or skip trekking if you prefer snorkeling. You move at your own pace.
