Please find below all the details regarding your cruise booking aboard the Lady Grace. This document outlines the booking process, payment procedures, practical information, inclusions, and our terms and conditions, including our cancellation policy.

Please note: By completing your booking, you acknowledge that you have read all the information presented below and agree to the applicable terms and conditions.

  1. Complete the booking form.
  2. Reservation Request: Upon receipt of the completed form and a copy of your ID, we will request to block your spots.
  3. Confirmation: Once the spots are blocked, you will receive a confirmation along with the invoice and payment instructions.
    • Note: Your spots are not guaranteed until you have received our confirmation that they are officially blocked for you.
  4. Payment Procedure:
    • Deposit: A deposit of 50% of the total price is required to confirm your cruise reservation.
    • Balance: The remaining balance must be paid 14 days before the departure date.
    • Last-Minute Bookings: For reservations made less than 14 days before departure, full payment is required at the time of booking.
  5. Finalization: Once your payment is received, we will finalize the reservation and send you the final booking confirmation with an updated invoice.
  6. Payment Deadline: The balance must be paid no later than 14 days before the cruise departure.
  7. Trip Preparation & Required Information:
    • Details for the shuttle service at the cruise departure and arrival points
    • Food allergies and specific dietary requirements.
    • Shoe size (applicable for certain boats only).
    • Passport copies for all passengers for the ship manifest and port clearances.

To finalize your request, please return the completed form (received via email or WhatsApp) and include a copy of the primary booker’s identification.

Exchange Rate: The IDR/EUR exchange rate used is the mid-market rate provided by Wise on the date the invoice is issued.

Understanding the Mid-Market Rate and Fees

All cruise payments must be settled in Indonesian Rupiah (IDR). For clients who choose to pay using one of the transfer methods (Domestic Bank Transfer or Credit Card), the following fees are added to the total:

  • Domestic Bank Transfer: A 1% fee is added to the total booking amount to cover currency exchange costs associated with converting currency into Indonesian Rupiah.
  • Credit Card / Apple Pay (Euros): A total fee of 2% is applied. This includes 1.2% for Visa/Mastercard processing fees and 0.8% for the currency exchange and transfer costs to Indonesia.

  • Snorkeling equipment: Mask and snorkel (fins are provided on certain boats)

You can bring your own drinks (sodas and alcoholic beverages, as these are not included) and snacks to complement the meals provided during the cruise.

Please note that entry fees for Komodo National Park, Moyo Island National Park, and the Whale Shark excursions are not included in your cruise booking. These are additional costs to be paid separately, in person, on the day of departure.

The prices provided at the time of booking are indicative only. These rates are non-contractual and are subject to change without notice by the local authorities, independently of Komodo Island Cruises or the boat operator.

For your reference, the 2026 rates are as follows:

  • Komodo National Park Fees: 650,000 IDR per person
  • Teluk Saleh Whale Shark Fee: 200,000 IDR per person
  • Moyo / Satonda Island National Park: 200,000 IDR per person (Weekdays) / 275,000 IDR (Weekends)

It is strongly advised to purchase adequate travel insurance before your arrival. It is your responsibility to ensure that your coverage is sufficient. Your insurance policy should cover, among other things:

  • Cancellation fees on your part.
  • Inability to participate in the cruise.
  • Flight cancellations.
  • Personal loss or theft.
  • Medical expenses and emergency assistance, including repatriation to your country of residence in the event of an accident or illness.

Unexpected events can happen to anyone, and we highly recommend securing coverage to protect yourself. In the event of a last-minute emergency preventing your participation, you risk losing significant payments made toward flights, hotels, and the cruise. Travel insurance provides essential financial security and peace of mind when the unforeseen occurs.

Please provide the following information and documentation prior to the start of your cruise:

  • Details for the departure and arrival shuttle.
  • Documentation: Passport copies for all passengers.
  • Dietary Needs: Any food allergies.
  • Special Diets: Specific dietary requirements (e.g., vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free).
  • Equipment: Shoe sizes for snorkeling fins (applicable for certain boats only).

Cash Essentials

Please ensure you bring sufficient cash (approx. 1,500,000 IDR – 2,500,000 IDR per person) to cover the following expenses:

  • Komodo National Park Fees: 650,000 IDR per person.
  • Teluk Saleh Whale Sharks: 200,000 IDR per person.
  • Moyo / Satonda Island: 200,000 IDR per person (Weekdays) / 275,000 IDR (Weekends).
  • Tips/Gratuities: While not mandatory, tips are greatly appreciated if you are satisfied with the service. A total of 5–10% of the booking price is a reasonable guideline. Please note that tips for the boat crew and the guide/photographer should be given separately.
  • Personal Expenses: Local villagers on the islands often sell souvenirs, drinks, and snacks. If you plan on making purchases, please bring cash with you during land excursions.

Special Dietary Requirements

Please specify if any passengers have food allergies or special dietary needs (Vegetarian, Vegan, etc.). For group bookings, please detail exactly which passenger has which requirement.

Stay Connected

Ensure that the phone number provided is active on WhatsApp. Essential information and contact details will be sent to you the day before departure. On the day of the cruise, the driver will contact you directly via WhatsApp.

Snorkeling Fins

To ensure we have the correct equipment ready for you, please provide the first name and shoe size (European sizing) for each passenger.

Shuttle & Transfer Details

Transfers are provided via shared shuttle, meaning you will share the vehicle with other passengers. Please be prepared for some flexibility as schedules may vary depending on traffic and group logistics.

Departing from Lombok

  • Cruise Departure: 11:00 AM from Kayangan Harbor.
  • Shared Shuttle Service: Available from Senggigi and Kuta. You must be at the designated meeting point by 7:30 AM.
    • Senggigi Meeting Point: KFC Paragon Senggigi.
    • Kuta Meeting Point: The Breakery Lombok (Kuta).
  • Independent Travel: If you are not using our shuttle, please take a taxi directly to Kayangan Harbor for arrival by 10:00 AM.
  • Confirmation: We will confirm the exact pickup time and provide the driver’s contact details the day before departure.

Arrival in Labuan Bajo (End of Cruise)

  • Arrival Time: The cruise ends in Labuan Bajo around 1:00 PM.
  • Hotel Drop-off: Included only for hotels in Labuan Bajo Center. (Excludes: Menjaga Bay and surrounding islands).
  • Flights: If you are flying out on the final day, we strongly recommend booking a flight after 4:00 PM.

Departing from Labuan Bajo

  • Cruise Departure: Between 8:00 AM and 8:30 AM from KP3 Harbor, Labuan Bajo.
  • Hotel Pickup: If you are staying in Labuan Bajo the night before, a driver will collect you from your hotel between 7:00 AM and 7:30 AM.
  • Coverage: Transfers are included only within Labuan Bajo Center (Hotel or Airport). (Excludes: Menjaga Bay and surrounding islands).
  • Requirements: Please provide your exact hotel name (or Google Maps pin) or your flight details (arrival no later than 7:30 AM and flight number).
  • Confirmation: The driver’s contact details will be sent to you the day before departure.

Arrival in Lombok (End of Cruise)

  • Arrival Time: The cruise ends at Kayangan Harbor (Lombok) around 12:30 PM.
  • Shared Shuttle Drop-off: The shuttle will drop you off between 3:00 PM and 3:30 PM at one of the following locations (your choice):
    • Senggigi Drop-off: KFC Paragon Senggigi.
    • Kuta Drop-off: The Breakery Lombok (Kuta).
  • Onward Travel: From these drop-off points, you will need to arrange a taxi to your final destination or hotel.

Note: If you are unsure if your address is within the free shuttle zone, please contact us. A surcharge applies for locations outside the designated areas.

  • Passengers must immediately report any issues during the trip to the crew members or the tour guide.
  • Prompt reporting allows the problem to be resolved while the trip is still underway.
  • Any complaint regarding a lack of service during the trip must be reported immediately to the Cruise Director on board.
  • The Cruise Director will endeavor to find an appropriate solution.
  • Please note that claims filed after the cruise has ended will not be accepted.
  • Noise: In addition to the main engine, all boats have 1 or 2 power generators to provide 24/7 electricity on board for cabin air conditioning, refrigerators, lights, etc.
  • Consequently, all rooms on all boats are more or less exposed to engine or generator noise depending on their proximity. 
  • It is therefore advised that all passengers bring earplugs in case you are disturbed by the noise and vibrations on the boat.

During the high season, popular destinations such as Manta Point, Padar Island, Pink Beach, and Komodo Island can experience high visitor numbers. lebaliblog and the boat operator decline any responsibility for complaints related to heavy crowds at these locations.

The itinerary and the program of visits and activities are provided for information purposes only. 

The itinerary is subject to change based on weather conditions, natural constraints, and operational or logistical requirements. 

Sighting manta rays is not guaranteed, as it depends on the weather and sea conditions. 

On the day of departure, the cruise guide will inform passengers of the final itinerary during the initial briefing.

During the cruise, the guide will take shots to document the trip (Photos and Videos using Camera, Drone, and GoPro). All photos and videos will be provided to you free of charge via a download link a few days after the end of the cruise.

If you could briefly share with us your impressions of the cruise, the boat, the cabin, the crew, and the service on board. Your remarks and comments will be very useful to us to further improve the cruise, and we will also post your comment on Komodo Island Cruises for future participants.

  • Deposit of 50% of the total price is required to confirm your cruise booking.
  • Payment of the balance no later than 14 days before the cruise departure date.
  • For bookings made less than 14 days before departure, payment of the total amount is required at the time of booking.

Cancellation by the Passenger

In the event of cancellation by the passenger for any reason whatsoever, including cases of force majeure, cancellation fees will be charged according to the following conditions:

All bank charges related to the refund are the responsibility of the passenger and will be deducted from the total refund amount.

It is strongly advised to take out comprehensive travel insurance before your arrival. It is your responsibility to ensure that your coverage is adequate. The insurance must cover, among other things: cancellation fees on your part, inability to join the cruise, flight cancellations, loss of personal belongings, all medical and assistance expenses, including repatriation to your country of residence in the event of accident or illness.

Cancellation by the Cruise Provider

  • Cancellations due to weather conditions or cases of force majeure entitle you to a full refund.
  • Minimum Passenger Requirements: A minimum number of passengers is required for shared cruises. There is a possibility of cancellation after confirmation if there are not enough passengers to meet the cruise requirements. In this case, an alternative boat will be offered with a similar cabin or an upgrade at no additional cost.
  • If the proposed options are not suitable for you, a full refund will be provided.

Rescheduling by the Passenger

  • Date changes are permitted no later than 1 month before the cruise departure date.
  • The new date must be within 12 months of the original booking date.

The boat provides documentation (photos and videos) during the trip. Each participant agrees to be filmed and photographed, and the cruise operator reserves the right to use these images for promotional purposes. If you do not wish to be photographed, please inform us.

  • Late Arrival or Absence: If the participant arrives late or is absent on the day of departure for any reason whatsoever, including cases of force majeure, the total booking amount is non-refundable, non-changeable, and non-transferable.
  • Departure from the Group: The cruise operator declines all responsibility for any consequences caused by the participant if they choose to leave the group during the trip.
  • Missed Meeting Points: If the participant fails to appear at the agreed-upon time and place during the trip, the participant will be responsible for all additional costs, and the missed itinerary will not be eligible for any recourse or refund.
  • Flight Delays or Cancellations: The cruise operator declines all responsibility in the event of your flight being delayed or canceled. It is the responsibility of the passengers to ensure they arrive on time for the cruise departure. We strongly advise arriving in Labuan Bajo the day before and taking out travel insurance.
  • Cancellation by the Operator: If a cruise is canceled by the cruise operator due to force majeure, passengers will receive a full refund.
  • Passenger Inability to Attend: Conversely, if the cruise operates as scheduled but passengers are unable to participate due to force majeure, no refund will be possible.
  • Recommendation: It is therefore strongly recommended that all passengers take out travel insurance to cover any unforeseen circumstances.

Definition of Force Majeure

According to the laws and principles adopted in Indonesia, force majeure may include, but is not limited to, events occurring during the trip that are unpredictable, irresistible, uncontrollable, and where there is an inability to cope with unforeseen events and circumstances, such as:

  • Natural Disasters: Including typhoons, storms, earthquakes, tsunamis, floods, volcanic eruptions, and landslides.
  • Government Actions: Such as expropriation or requisition.
  • Abnormal Social Events: Such as wars, armed conflicts, riots, and terrorist attacks.

The cruise operator and Komodo Island Cruises decline all responsibility and liability in the event of:

  • Loss of personal belongings (luggage, cameras, bags, jewelry, etc.).
  • Delays or cancellations of the sightseeing schedule and all events beyond the control of the cruise.
  • Costs or losses resulting from delays caused by participants.
  • Loss of boat equipment by participants; the replacement costs for such equipment shall be borne by the participant.
  • Accidents or damages occurring during the cruise.
  • Loss or delay of luggage by airlines, hotels, or other means of transport.
  • Delay or cancellation of your flight.
  • Negligence of participants resulting in personal injury.

The cruise reserves the right, in the event of force majeure or weather conditions, to modify the itinerary or the program to ensure the safety of passengers and the crew.

Komodo Island Cruises makes reasonable efforts to ensure that the content of our website is complete and up to date. However, Komodo Island Cruise does not guarantee that the content of our website will be free of errors, inaccuracies, or omissions. These errors, inaccuracies, or omissions may relate to the price, description, or availability of a product or service.

Komodo Island Cruises reserves the right to correct any error, inaccuracy, or omission, or to change or update the content without prior notice to the participant. Furthermore, Komodo Island Cruises reserves the right to refuse or cancel any order or booking containing an error, inaccuracy, or omission, whether or not the order or booking has been submitted, confirmed, and/or your credit card has been charged. If the participant’s credit card has already been charged for the purchase and the order or booking is canceled due to an error, inaccuracy, or omission, Komodo Island Cruises will promptly issue a full refund.

Komodo Island Cruises acts solely as a booking agent for reservations made through its platform. Komodo Island Cruises has entered into agreements with cruise operators to ensure they do their utmost to satisfy our clients. This means that in the event of a potential issue with a booking, the cruise operator will seek to resolve the situation to the client’s satisfaction.

Komodo Island Cruises assumes no liability for misrepresentations, breaches of contract, breaches of statutory duty, or negligence by any of the cruise operators. This means that if you suffer personal injury, illness, or death as a result of an act or omission by a cruise operator (or its employees or agents), or if you have complaints regarding the quality of services provided, your sole right of recourse shall be against the independent third party that provided the service. Komodo Island Cruises shall in no way be held liable.

In the event of an issue, you must inform the cruise guide directly so that the crew can rectify the problem as quickly as possible; you must also inform Komodo Island Cruises as soon as possible. We encourage you to take photos and videos to support your claim. Should you seek recourse against the cruise organizer, Komodo Island Cruises will assist you as much as possible to reach an amicable agreement. However, the final decision rests with the cruise organizer. Komodo Island Cruises shall not be held liable for modifications, trip cancellations, losses, or damages suffered by you during the cruise, nor for any failure on the part of service providers listed on Komodo Island Cruises. Furthermore, Komodo Island Cruises is released from performing its obligations toward the client in the event of force majeure.

To confirm a booking, you must be authorized to do so by all persons named in the reservation, and by a parent or guardian for any members under the age of 18. By making the booking, you confirm that all persons named in the reservation accept these terms and conditions and that you will inform each person of the confirmation details. By making the booking, you also become responsible for all payments due in connection with said reservation.

Data Authorization: You hereby authorize Komodo Island Cruises to process all personal information concerning you and the persons named in the booking that has been obtained in connection with your reservation. Personal information includes: phone numbers, fax numbers, email addresses, residential addresses, signatures, copies of ID or passports, or any other information belonging to you or the persons named in the booking.

Legal Capacity: You warrant that you are 18 years of age or older and that you have the legal capacity to use the website and to enter into a legally binding contract.

Accuracy of Information: You warrant that all personal information provided during the booking process is correct, and you accept financial responsibility for all transactions made under your name or account.
